Governing Boards
The ILF governing boards consist of the Executive Board, the Board of Trustees, the Academic Advisory Board and the Donors' Committee. The Executive Board, which comprises three members of the law faculty of Goethe University, is responsible for the management of the ILF. The members of the Board of Trustees are selected from among the ILF's sponsors and donors.
The Chairman of the Board of Trustees is Mr. Martin Blessing, Chairman of the Board of Managing Directors, Commerzbank AG. The Chairman of the Academic Advisory Committee is Mr. Jean-Claude Trichet, President of the European Central Bank.
